The brides "Getting Ready" experience which involves the hair/make-up artists is a great moment to capture the beginning of the brides day. Although, the draw back is that the hair/make-up artist are also known for making brides late for scheduled and impromtu photographs with the time available before the ceremony. As the bride, explain to your hair & make-up people that they need to be finished at least an hour before your scheduled photograph session. For instance, if the pictures start at 3:00, schedule your hair and make up to be done at 2:00. You will then have that time to relax with your girls and more time for pictures. If your hair/make-up is done off-site, only travel with one other person and schedule that person’s hair and make-up appointments with yours. As the bride, you will need to be ready ay least a whole hour earlier than the rest of your bridesmaids/party. Traveling with all of them in one car will increase your chances of being late.
